Central Communications, Inc. is a cooperative effort between Doddridge and Ritchie Counties for the purpose of providing 911 service to citizens and visitors, as well as the central dispatching of first responders. CCI is also responsible for mapping and addressing efforts within both Counties. CCI was founded in 2001, and has 14 employees.

The Ritchie County Commission approved a new road name July 9th, 2020: KENNY WRIGHT DRIVE
formerly part of Ritchie County School Road; from Ellenboro N. Main St. to the gate at far end of the stadium complex.
Doddridge and Ritchie Counties are nestled in the heart of North Central West Virginia. Although they are among the lowest populated Counties in the State, U.S. Route 50 runs the width of both Counties, serving as a major link in the
region's commerce and travel. The major industries in our Counties are timber production, oil and gas
production, manufacturing, farming and tourism.
